Summer in the Square

Back again for another year, our Summer in the Square series features local artists who will regale and entertain you in Norman MacKenzie Square through the warm summer months. Performances will be twice a week, every Tuesday at 4:30pm and Saturday at 12pm, from July 8th to September 5th. So grab a beer at BierCraft Restaurant or a refreshing iced drink from Blenz and sit out on their patios, or take a seat in Norman MacKenzie Square, and see our amazing performers!

Today's Artist:

Fluterrific is a North Delta based flute
ensemble created by Michelle Carlisle. Under her direction, the
musical repertoire of Fluterrific ranges from Classical and Baroque through to
folk music such as Celtic songs, spicy Latin tunes, American spirituals, jazz
favourites, plus contemporary and Broadway show tunes, too. The sound of flutes
together is joyous and sweet, powerful and uplifting. Fluterrific performs at
weddings, conventions, private parties, concerts, seniors' centres, shopping
malls, and anywhere a string quartet could play. Entertaining and fun, from
powerful slow airs to rip-roaring fast tunes, Fluterrific all in all is Flute + Terrific!
