UBC Child Care Services operates 24 centres, almost all of them clustered together in a series of bright duplexes by their offices. Five distinct age groups are provided for including infants (where a staff-to-child ratio of 3-1 is maintained). A full Kindergarten has been incorporated, too, with before-and-after “Kindercare,” for the monitoring of children up to age 12. 

• Vista Point YMCA Child Care Centre 

Opening in June 2016, Vista Point YMCA Child Care Centre will offer 25 spaces for children ages 30 months to 5 years. Located at 5828 Thunderbird Blvd, this brand new facility will be operated by the YMCA of Greater Vancouver and will be an exciting addition to UBC child care options.  Hours of operations will be 7:30am to 6:00pm and full and part time care options will be available.
